I just recently found out that Wix now enables users to create multi-language websites. This is a relief, because now I don’t need to buy extra Wix licenses for my translated websites, and I can use the same template over and over again. But, I’ve encountered a problem using Wix Code when creating this multi-language website.
I have to languages in my site, Spanish and English. For example, in my products list, I use one single database called “product”, and in that database there is a column called language, which I then use to filter the dataset. In Spanish I use “ESP” and in English I use “ENG”. But, when you activate the multi-language tool, and use different filters (ESP and ENG) in the dataset for the datapage (product), it only lets you apply one filter, and it doesn’t distinguish between both filters, thus the translation is no possible.
So my question is, does anyone know how to translate a Wix website that is using Wix Code? Maybe you can tell me what I’m doing wrong?
