Connecting alt text for images in database for dynamic page

Hey Wix team,

I was wondering how it is possible to create custom alt text for each image in a database for each photo? When inspecting my page source it shows the url of the image auto assigned when uploading the images to the database.

How can I change this please? I see some info on the API but where does the alt text come from? is it the description of the photo in the upload media gallery?? Anyway a sample code would be great :slight_smile:

Seems like we have been abandoned by Wix, no answers from December 2021.

Instead of replying to this, make your own post.
In my opinion, the information that has been given whas to little to do anything with.
Also the image he posted is not any wix code .

Thanks Kristof, after searching the web for the answer, this is still the top question and even though the original posting looked like it used code that has little or nothing to do with the solving the question, the question is still very valid., and in simple terms todate there still no reply from Wix on how to add “alt” tags to images on a dynamic page and it looks like the original posting was made around 2019, so it still stands the question has not been answered and it seems Wix has abandoned the development. This is more serious than just “alt” tags, it also effects the search engine indexing.
