Best way to add a video in a slideshow?

Hey,
I am trying to create a slide show with text and videos next to each other. For some reason, a video won’t attach to the slide. The only solution I have found is to put and HTML box. I am wondering:

  1. is there a better way?
  2. where is the URL of the videos uploaded to wix? (so I can refer it to the HTML box)

Have you looked at WIX Pro Gallery?

Yes I tried. but it won’t attach to the slide show…

Hey Barry,

Are you using one of the video elements from the Add menu? I don’t seem to have a problem attaching a video element to a slideshow. Did you make sure the slideshow is big enough to hold the video element?

yes I tried and it doesn’t work. Same for the wix pro gallerie and the iplayer hd app

Ok Barry, I’ve finally gotten to the bottom of this. Unfortunately, there are certain elements which cannot currently be contained in a slideshow. The video element you were trying to use is one of them. If it helps, you can use the regular YouTube, Vimeo, etc. players in the slideshow.

You also might want to add a feature request about this issue.
