How to fit my website to different resolutions

Hi,
I’d like to fit my website to different screen resolutions (not mobile), but I don’t know how to do it.
Someone can help me?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

Basically you can use the Editors responsive components (ask Wix Support for help).

You can also make a set of components and make them shown/hidden for specific sizes.
see wixWindow module. It has data about the width/height of the users window.

Liran.

Hi Liran,
Thank you very much!!

Not very helpful directing us to general help sections.

If you try to fit in the margins that looks good for few low resolutions but when the resolution/screen size (for ex… 1920 X 1080 )is high it looks wierder.

@artistdipu09 That is always problematic with high resolution

@seywan that’s where bootstrap comes to rescue …this is what wix needs to fix

@artistdipu09 Waht can we DO !? :frowning:

@artistdipu09 What can we DO ?!

https://www.chicagobluesangels.com/ so with his this site I stated within inner preset margins, but for my background I used the maximum background. I know you are trying to get most out of your screen. Unfortunately this is what they told which was not very helpful.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Wix Support Team.
To better answer your question, we would require for your review the following article and feature request:
Request: Responsive Sites Editor Gridlines Pinning an Element
The ideal setup for smaller devices and tablets, would be to make use of the editor gridlines in addition to elements that resize based on the resolution of the device. The important content has to be located within either the editor gridlines or the strip/columns gridlines.
We are working on implementing more responsive elements and if you select to vote for this feature, we will make sure to notify once more features become available.
I hope that this information was helpful. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Best Regards,
Angel G

Same problem here… and very hard to reach Wix Support

I have the same problem. Different screens and resolutions the logo will fall off at time the text will not appear correctly. There has to be a script or some adjustment made for this problem. The standard template is 980px (i guess) we dont have a way to even change the template size.

@WixSupport - can we have some resolution to the problem??
