I was hoping that the app builder would allow code like the following where the name of the dataset is the value of a widget property. I get it that making explicit references to a particular dataset makes no sense from the viewpoint of inheritance and reuse, but being able to call dataset functions in a widget would add a lot more flexibility and capability. This is part of a widget with add, edit, and delete buttons accompanied by a table that would bring a up a separate data entry form to do the edits.
Problem is that this code generates a type error since the functions of a dataset are not recognized. An instance of the widget on a Wix page generates a script error, which I'm assuming is due to the same issue.
In any event, you can see what I'm trying to do. From the documentation, it sounds like you want to accommodate collection connectivity in some fashion. For me, it would enhance the value of the app builder significantly. As many as half the uses of the app builder that I've thought of involve being able to reference a dataset via a widget property.
