Sisterhood
Sisterhood is the backbone of Kappa Alpha Theta. Without it, our group would be just like any other campus organization. Because of it, we have created bonds that will last long beyond our college years. Throughout the year, we make special time to spend with our sisters and ensure that our sisterhood remains strong.
Sisterhood Day
Every year, Sisterhood Deputies single out days as Sisterhood Days, a day of fun activities for the chapter. Sisterhood Days are organized to help Thetas forget the stress and worries of their everyday lives. In the past, Sisterhood Day events have included relay races, a spirited game of kickball, football, pool parties, and even trips to Hurricane Harbor!
Theta Thursday
On various Thursdays during the semester there is an organized fun activity for members. Past Theta Thursdays include pizza parties at sisters' houses, t-shirt making nights, ice cream sundae parties, PJs and Pancakes at IHOP, and a Princess party.
Sisterhood Retreat
Every year, there is an overnight retreat for the chapter at a nearby lake house. The weekend gives the chapter a chance to relax, enjoy a break from classes, and grow closer to their Theta sisters. Past retreat themes have included Thetastock and So Fly.
