Welcome!

First off, thank you. Thank you for taking the time to visit us. Thank you for taking the time to care about some of our slithering friends!

This site is meant to introduce you to some of the species at risk in our community and beyond. We want to tell you about them so that the next time you see one or think about one you will know more about what they are and their importance to our community.

So, you're probably wondering why you should care about some snakes you may or may not have seen before. Well, it's important to protect these species because they provide us with a number of ecological and economic services. Read more to find out!

Meet the girls of Biology 422! When presented with this project, Natalie and Meghan both decided that the message of snake conservation needed to be further investigated and brought to awareness. To do this, they took on the challenge of creating a website for people to be able to access this information, and to really make a difference. So, here it is, and enjoy!
