The Rock Palace Apartments are situated in a very quiet part of the city of Dubrovnik called Gornji kono. At the time of the Republic of Dubrovnik (16th century), the Dubrovnik nobility spent their summers in their summer houses built on this very location. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, with a sea-view and a view of the old town centre, the summer houses were so close to the centre and yet so far from the noise and crowds, which has always been important for relaxation and a pleasant vacation. The Old Town centre is only 800m away on foot, as is the closest beach, which is 50m away from the old town centre.
