Dr. Guy Potter Benton was the only man to ever where the Delta Zeta badge.
Our badge was voted most beautiful among all NPC members' badges and was on display in the library of congress.
The turtle is our official mascot, the killarney rose is our flower, the diamond is our jewel, and the roman lamp is our symbol.
Delta Zeta is one of the largest sororities in the world, with chapters in 49 states, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Famous DZs include: Mercedes Bates (real-life Betty Crocker), Joy Behar (Host of the View), Marti Dodson (Lead Singer of Saving Jane), Florence Henderson (Mrs. Brady), Ivy Baker Priest (Former U.S. Treasurer), Nanette Fabray (Actress who worked to bring sign language and captioning to T.V.), and Maurine Brown Neuberger (Former U.S. Senator)
Nationally, 71% of Greeks graduate while, only 50% of non-greeks graduate.
