Welcome Friends ...
A special hello to all the lovely folk I met at the recent Norwich Arts Centre's 'Clutter City', not to mention you friendly fellows at the Norwich Ukulele Society! Thanks for taking time to amble around my new site! More 'cafe culture' drawings like the one on the right coming soon ...

Le Train Quotidien
For two years now I have commuted everyday, out of town. Strangely, I find I'm still fascinated by the changing scene both inside and out of the carriage. There's always something new to notice. Admittedly, train travel has lost much of its former glamour, but I still think there is a decadence in sitting back and quietly observing. Not to mention a romanticism in witnessing pea green fields flash by or if I'm really lucky a barn owl sunbathing. More recently, my gaze has shifted from outside to in as I notice the appeal of a changing internal world. If this doesn't sound too pretentious and you're interested in seeing more click here!

Hidden
These are a selection of wooden book panels from 'Hidden' from what I like to think of as a controversial retelling of the George & the Dragon story. The complete book was exhibited at the Norwich Forum as part of the Norwich Dragon Festival alongside The Other Project.
Who, you say!?
I moved to Norwich from London 7 years ago to go to Norwich School of Art (now NUCA), graduating with a degree in Graphic Design (Illustration specialism). Since then, I have been a Marketing bod for Bang & Olufsen, Book Seller at Waterstone's and then a Graphic Designer. In recent years I have returned to education. This time though, I am helping students get to grips with Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Pro - among other more obscure programmes! I also support with processes such as etching, screen printing and various types of painting, in my role as an Arts Technician.
I have had exhibitions of my work in and around Norwich as part of Simply Eclectic and Norwich Fringe Festival. Of late, I have also been indulging in a subversive crafty compulsion and so go to lots of Craft Fairs.I have also set up a craft group ('Stitch & Chips' - of the potato variety!') which meets in my local for crafting camaraderie!
I do love to hear from comrades of any description and being a friendl sort you are guaranteed a reply, so feel free to drop me any kind of a line at :zaradg_gmail.com
