I began playing violin and guitar when I was six years old. I grew up in a musical family and listened to a lot of The Beatles, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchel, Cat Stevens, Carole King, John Denver, Michael Jackson, and many others. As my interest in music grew, I began composing and recording original music for fun on a 4-track recorder (remember those?). Later on I got into jazz and funk music which helped me develop my unique style of improvisation. I've played in and led a few bands over the years including Funk Nugget, OMA, The Law, Suspect Change, and Orbit Shaker. I am currently at work composing more songs and playing with my new power-funk trio, Boomslang. I'll be performing throughout PA, DE, MD, and New England. Hopefully, I'll see you soon!
