I am a self-employed Virtual Assistant, specializing in general office/administrative support for the arts & entertainment sector. I am committed to delivering you quality work, in a timely manner.My professional work experience is very diverse. I worked many years for one of the nations largest management companies, event coordinator for a national concert series, a large performance rights organization, and as an Executive Assistant to the Dean at a Major University. I have a BA in Applied Computer Science.
My time spent with the Management company allowed me to develop my management skills. This position required great attention to detail and the ability to multitask. I honed my organizational & problem solving skills during those years. The central focus of this position was implementing effective marketing/sales & retention programs, recruiting, project planning, bookkeeping, and budget management.
While in the events industry, I worked in the Quality Assurance Department, specializing in database management, research, tracking, & auditing. I found this work to be very challenging and rewarding. The case loads were large and each case was unique. This gave me the skills to learn to adapt to each situation as it comes. A skill that is a must in a quality Virtual Assistant.
During my time at the Major University, I was the Executive Assistant to a Dean. This opportunity allowed me to develop the skills necessary to handle top level management issues along with many special projects. Some of the significant skills I gained here were: coordinating travel arrangements, facilitating client billings, calendar/schedule management, customizing emails and internet research.
I have been described as a dependable, professional and easy to work with individual. I have an incredible desire to learn new things and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
