Darren Bemis is heading to Iraq on June 24th. He has been an incredible volunteer at 412, passionate Childrens Director at Trinity, and most of all a swell guy! Since Darren will be over seas, it will be difficult for him to maintain his property. This is where 412 comes in! As part of the "here " offering, we will be volunteering to cut the grass, edge the yard, and any other outside chore that needs to be done. We will be meeting at his house (Universal City) every other week until he gets back home from his tour of duty. Offering is all about getting our hands dirty and helping people in need. If you are willing to take a Saturday morning to help, contact Pastor Robbie today! It's time we DO SOMETHING! (remember the sermon series in June?!).
We are collecting school supplies for 3 orphanges in Mexico! Imagine not being able to go to school because you have no uniform, no pencils, no notebooks, no nothing! We take education for granted in the US because we can ask our moms to stop by Walmart or HEB to pick up pencils on the way home. It's time that we do what did Jesus and help the people around us. You can make the difference for people your own age that live 3hrs from you. Will you do it? Bring your supplies to 412pm or 412am.!
