Goodday Friends, we are excited to let you know that everything is set and ready for our trip to Malawi, Africa. We are leaving tomorrow the 27th of May and are very excited.

XtraOrdinary is an international NGO for child development and advocacy. Partnering with other organisations, leaders from third world countries around the globe and local churches, we are committed to the spiritual, economic, social and physical development of children living in extreme poverty and affected by HIV/AIDS in different countries around the world, enabling them to become responsible, fulfilled adults.
XtraOrdinary's work began in Malawi in 2003 when a young lady by the name of Lydia felt compelled to help orphaned children who had no one to look after them due to the ever rising death tolls in the Malawian society caused by HIV/AIDS. As young as she was she had a strong passion and desire to advocate for a voiceless generation, the now generation and knew she had the power to make a difference and also to be that difference.
After that trip and encounter with the children of the Malindi village, xtraordinary was founded, but destiny would have its way. Whilst on another Humanitarian and Missionary trip with a group of friends and colleagues this year 2010, God would once again have His way, prove Himself and redefine xtraordinary. One of my friends Michelle had come along on the humanitarian trip, destiny and divine purpose really brought us together and it pleased God that he places a burden upon My and Michelles life to work together and do something awesome for the poor children of the Balaka District in Malawi but at this point whilst on the trip we were not sure of What God wanted us to do up until one day when Michelle and I took a stroll and came a across a massive piece of land which was then donated to us as an organisation. Everything just fell in place from there onwards and Michelle became the co- founder of xtraordinary, and we have been successfully, tirelessly working together ever since in order to fulfil the vow we made to God and our adopted kids plus the people of Balaka.
Today we have a worldwide ministry, and God has blessed us and we will be branching out into Mozambique and Zimbabwe where we will be fulfilling our God-given vision. Our founder was inspired by Matthew 15:32 where Jesus says, 'I have compassion for these people - I do not want to send them away hungry' (NIV).
From those humble beginnings, XtraOrdianry is fast becoming a renowned international Christian child development and child advocacy ministry, and are now also branching out to youth and women empowerment projects.
In Africa Alone an estimated 15.2 million Children have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS. These children face enormous risks daily in their struggle to stay alive. Often these Children are forced into sexual exploitation, enrolled as child soldiers or forced into child labour. Our Job here at XtraOrdinary is to support Orphans, Homeless Children and the childrens extended family and caregivers. XtraOrdinary is also currently supporting other orphanages in order to help sustain them so that they are able to keep the most vulnerable children out of harm's way.
We are also commited and dedicated to Impacting the lives of women and young people disadvantaged by social or economic circumstances. Our organisation is empowering and targetting women in these third world countries because we believe that by doing so women become more engaged in order to enhance and develop skills that will improve their quality of family life.
We also strongly believe that every single individual is an architect of their future, hence why we are also offering opportunities for educational, spiritual and economic growth, by doing so we believe that our intiatives will build and strengthen families and make better communities.

Monthly giving provides a steady and predictable source of income to XtraOrdinary, which allows us to fund more programs and help more children. £20 a month will enable us to feed a child for a whole month and supply them with human basic needs.
One-off Giving
If you prefer to give a one off donation, you are more than welcome to do so.
Every Little Helps
Yes like tescos creed, every donation big or small helps, therefore if you can not afford £20, you are welcome to donate whatever amount you can afford.
Donate Air Miles
Donating Air Miles will soon be an available option that will help defray costs of air travel for US to visit our work in Africa and other third world countries around the globe. More information on that coming soon.
