Belly dancing has been around for many years and often used as a tool for women empowerment and to encourage fertility. Nowadays, we use it as a source of women empowerment and exercise! It tones your mid area very nicely but at the same time is sensual and sexy. So now, Be Sexy is offering classes on belly dance. Book your class today!
Here are the types of classes we offer:
Weekly Classes
Beginner Belly Dance Workout
Are you thinking about taking belly dance classes, but don't want to commit to a six week course? This course accomodates irregular work schedules as it is pay-as-you-go.
Get exposed to body undulations, turns, shimmies and upper body isolations of this ancient and beautiful dance form.
Attire
Loose workout cloths, thick socks or ballet slippers. - Open to all levels.
Workout
This class emphasizes the "workout" aspect of bellydance to Middle Eastern, Latin, and Urban music. Each week, the focus is on one aspect of belly dancing without relying on prerequiste knowledge. So anyone can join at any time, perfect if you just want to dance and sweat!
Walk-ins welcome
By popular demand this class is a pay-as-you-go, $10/session. Each class is independent of the other so students may join at anytime.

Belly Dance Baby (Pre-natal Class)
Overjoyed about your new bundle but not so much about your new body? Be sexy introduces you to “Belly Dance Baby”. It is a safe, fun way to exercise during pregnancy and still feel sexy. We still practice shimmies, hip shakes and more but at a more comfortable level. This is a weekly class and each class is independent of the others, so if you miss, we understand!
Series & Specialty Classes
Basic Belly Dance Techniques Series
This class will focus exclusively on belly dance basics. Your instructor will go over basic moves with you in detail -- breaking down individual moves and showing you ways to establish and improve your belly dance technique. This class gives you the workout of your life! Be ready to sweat, burn off some serious calories, and work hard!!
The difference between this class and a choreography class is that in the basic class you focus on specific areas of the body and establishing the muscle memory for individual moves throughout the six-week course, whereas in the choreography classes you learn an entire choreography to a piece of music during the six week course. Both kinds of courses are technique driven and will give you a great workout. They just have different focuses, i.e. the Basic Belly Dance Course focuses on repetitive practice of individual moves, while a Choreography Course progresses through a specific choreography.
Hips Don't Lie
If you loved Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" song and woould love to learn an entire choreography to it, or if you want to bring the HEAT into your belly dancing & burn everyone with your hot-ness, definitely join the "Hips don't Lie" course!

Beyonce and Shakira blow us away with another sultry song filled with Middle Eastern riffs and tones. If you loved this song and their dance moves, join us to learn how to dance like them.
Attire: Leggings, tank top, and hip scarf.
**All students must sign a video/photo waiver because we do take photos and videos.**
**Most supplies are included with class but you are welcome to bring your own if you do not want to use ours or order them from us**

Class Schedules
Below, you will find schedules for all of our belly dance classes. The times are listed in this paragraph. Basic Belly Dance will be held every Sunday starting on August 8 and ending on September 12 from 7-8pm. Our series class, Beginner Belly Dance will be held every Sunday from 12-1pm. Belly Dance Baby will be held every Friday from 1-2pm. Hips Don’t Lie will be held every Sunday starting on August 9 and ending on September from 5-7pm. Beautiful Liar will be held every Sunday starting September 18 and ending October 23 from 5-7pm.
