PRSSA was first founded in 1968 by the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America). In that same year the WVU chapter of PRSSA was founded. The declared purpose of PRSSA is to cultivate a favorable and mutually advantageous relationship between students and professional public relations practitioners.

Every month, WVU PRSSA hosts and partcipates in numerous activties and events. As a group we want to document these events by having our dues paying members write about their experience within our organization.
