As a member of WLA, you will have an opportunity to:
* Learn about internship, job, and networking opportunities in Orange County
* Attend meetings and discussions to learn about law-related careers
* Receive LSAT Prep information from different companies
* Attend law school field trips
* Participate in quarterly social events
o Past events have included bonfires, Taco Tuesdays, and Pub Nights.
* Help out the community with community service events
o Past events have included Relay for Life and clothing drives for Laura's House
* Receive discounts for membership to Pre-Law Society and Environmental Law Society
WLA is a club dedicated to promoting knowledge of women’s legal issues in the legal community. WLA will serve as a forum for those who intend to pursue a career in law or a related field by focusing on women’s experiences. As a club, we intend to help improve the overall role of women in the profession by hosting community service events, networking events, prominent guest speakers. In addition, we will provide LSAT preparation, educational, and career advice.
