How can someone be convicted of murder if they NEVER TOUCHED HER, NEVER TOLD ANYONE ELSE TO and even TRIED TO STOP IT??!
MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE
Anthony Wood, a 21 year old man, was wrongly convicted of the murder of Louise Evans in July 2009.
He is currently serving a 23 year life sentence.
Anthony was accused of murder under the JOINT ENTERPRISE LAW
He has been charged jointly of murder even though the police and prosecution are fully aware Anthony did not physically harm Louise in any way!
Another young man Douglas was present throughout the horrific attack and told police and the court that Anthony had no part in the attack whatsoever! Douglas has not been charged.

Anthony along with 6 others were intending camping out, spending the night drinking at Townley Park Burnley, when an argument arose between Matthew Maw and Louise.
Matthew then attacked Louise with a knife that Anthony had packed in a holdall along with a picnic for the sleepover.
Anthony and Douglas both tried to stop Matthew from attacking Louise but were too frightened as Matthew then attacked them and threatened them that if they left, he would do the same to them!
It has been proved by forensics that Matthew was the only one who attacked Louise.
Anthony had no motive whatsoever for killing Louise. Whereas Matthew was teased by her on the night of her attack and during the four years they had known each other.
Anthony had only known Louise and Matthew for a few weeks.
Anthony has been granted leave for appeal from the appeal judge and we are awaiting the date for the next full court hearing.
Due to the appeal we are unable to disclose any futher information to prove Anthony's innocence.
We will keep you updated when possible.
Three others, left the area as the attack began. These three also have not been charged.
After the attack Matthew then made Anthony and Douglas leave the park with him. Matthew threatened both Anthony and Douglas not to tell anyone then ran off and was later arrested.
Matthew admitted killing Louise and has NOT been put on trial. He is serving 18 years in prison.
