BARCELONA DJ WILLY SANJUAN RESUMES HIS SOLO CAREER WITH RENEWED ENERGY

Concluding a 3 year musical venture with the electronic band known as PUNCH EXCITERS, Willy Sanjuan has decided to continue his career solo and officially bring the electronic duo to a close. As a renowned DJ, Willy Sanjuan greatly values the experience gained as part of the duo, in which he produced and performed a combination of electronic and house music, among other styles.
The period has been one of exploration, one of reaching new artistic latitudes, and Willy Sanjuan is emerging with an even greater legacy, the fruits of which can be seen in a multitude of remixes and collaborations with numerous artists. These achievements are best represented in ONE, the studio album showcasing 14 original tracks. Further, tours through South America, in addition to live performances and festivals in Russia and other countries, have served only to enrich Willy Sanjuan´s experience as an artist.
Willy´s desire to focus on his personal career is the chief motivation for the dissolution of the musical duo. Moreover, the public, the critics and the professionals of the industry miss the presence of the independent Barcelona DJ, who is facing this new musical stage with strong ambition and an even more powerful vision.
Willy Sanjuan will resume his labors as producer, combining them with the releasing of new singles and collaborations with diverse promoters, just as before the age of PUNCH EXCITERS.
His upcoming schedule is full of projects and commitments, notable among which are tours through South America and Homeless, a monthly event taking place at hotel ME in Barcelona. One of the projects already underway is House Kingdom, a weekly radio program lasting 2 hours, which airs on FM radio in Uruguay, Argentina, México, the United States and Spain.
Other roles fulfilled by Willy Sanjuan will include promoting fresh and young talents and other artists already established through his label MOLACACHO Records, recently joined with SURBEATS Records, property of Fernando Picon, Ariel Perazzoli and Alvaro Quartino.
Through all of this, Willy Sanjuan will continue innovating, reinventing himself time and time again, always a step ahead of the rest, following a solid professional career supported by 20 years of experience, making him one of the DJ´s with the best international potential and recognition within the Spanish house panorama.

What a big way to start the year 2010! My remixes of MR. TRONIK - BLUE SKIES are finally coming out on BEATPORT for a worlwide distribution on my label MOLACACHO RECORDS. A vocal mix with epic synths i really enjoyed in the studio and a dub mix i feel the need to produce as well. This project is a sure hit. Release date is JANUARY 25, 2010. You're warned!!
Before leaving to my Mexican tour in late Jan I've had the big pleasure of remixing DRAGONFLY. A really soulful song that caught me since the first listening. "BE THERE" is the name of the track and the release is due to 1st of April, righ after this year's WMC in Miami on BLUE SCIENCE Records. Other remixes could be Harry "Choo-Choo" Romero, Chris Moody & Angel Manuel but i'll let you know for sure as soon as all is confirmed.
Another project I remixed at the end of 2009 is coming out very soon and it already started its marketing campaign. Polish producer MR.ROOT trust me to do the WILLY SANJUAN SOULFOOD MIX of a classic song of italian super producer Victor Simonelli called DREAMIN' AINT ENOUGH. This time comes back in 2010 under the name of MR.ROOT vs. SUNSET PEOPLE feat. COLIN RICH - DREAMIN' AINT ENOUGH 2010.
In the meantime a project with LA based PAPAJOE AVIANCE is into the oven being cooked for all you house heads. Expect a WILLY SANJUAN and DJ AFFANI feat. PAPAJOE AVIANCE soon.
Not bad for a month interrupted by an eighteen days tour in Mexico...

HOUSE KINGDOM is a weekly radio show produced by Willy Sanjuan _ Molacacho Records Studios in Barcelona. The show airs on different FM radio stations around the world as well as some internet based ones.
The show originally started in Barcelona on RAC 105 FM as part of a daily dance music show and became popular very fast. As a result Willy decided to bring to show worlwide and started syndicating it all around.
One hour of an awesome tunes selection by Willy Sanjuan that are being introduced to the audience in every show. The second hour usually is Willy himself in the mix but he's really pleased to received some of the most friendly guest DJs on his addres book.
