My Photography
GM Willo started taking pictures in the early nineties, but only in 2003 decided to join a school of photography, in Florence. In 2004, together with other artists from the association Deaphoto, his work showed in two exhibitions. The pictures were about the suburbia of his hometown inspired by the famous photographer Atget. In 2005, again with Deaphoto, he developed a personal project called “In Verwachting”. The exhibition took place in march 2005 in Florence.
Since 2006 he lives in Holland, creating new projects through the web.In 2008 he published a portfolio called “Willoclick, the talking eye”, a collection of images through five years of development and research.
Being more active as a writer, he recently decided to use his photography as an inspirations to the stories he writes about. Some of his reportages are visible on-line on this page.
