Based on the opuntia cactus, Opu (oh-pah) is an interactive play set that is ideal for waiting room environments.
The idea for Opu came from the need to have a product that could not only be easily cleaned, but could also be used by children with disabilities.
The simple, but unusual shapes are designed to encourage intrigue and curiosity, while the programmed responses are sensory to allow users with any disability to interact.
Created for the main window display at Hamleys toy store in London.
The animation sequence was designed to personalise the shopping experience for shopping customers as well as entice business into the store.
Started in early 2010, myself and two other colleagues decided to host a series of pop-up events.
Starting with an indoor picnic at the Future Gallery, we eventually collaborated the idea of creating an experiential events company called The Robin Collective.
Based on our love for creative design and culinary discovery, we’ve since invented the world’s first colour-changing cocktail, built a giant beehive in Central London and paved the way as purveyors of the pop-up shop.
Firefly is a modern portable light source that brings together whimsy and ambiance.
Designed to resemble a jar of glowing insects, the user can turn on and control the intensity of the glow by a simple twist of the lid.
Firefly charges like a mobile phone, allowing a portable aqua illumination for 5-7 hours. It can be used indoor and outdoor, is splash resistant and is both safe and ideal for all age groups.
Various illustrations, drawings and concept work for past and upcoming projects.
Unlike the majority of my work, I do offer more formal designs for a variety of corporate clients.
I have worked with finance companies, restaurants and online businesses to provide materials ranging from basic stationary to web, promotioanl and
direct mail graphics.
