TACXkins can be used to personalize Virtual Reality of the Fortius Software and the Tacx Trainer Software 3.
TACXkins are produced by Wesp, who could call himself a dinosaur of virtual cycling. Wesp, a former national cycle champion in the 80 and 90's, used the Excel for targetted training off season to improve his time trial performance. After the introduction of the i-Magic and the green software some 10 years ago he started to ride indoors and joined virtual competitions on internet. In fact, besides being one of the founding members of the Virtual Cycling Federation, he was the first virtual hour record holder.
After Tacx's alliance with AIM Production, the manufacturer were able to get a lead in virtual cycling technology by introducing the powerfull Fortius trainer.
Since 2000, Wesp creates personalized overlays for the Fortius software. He has a collection of over 150 skins, including banners, grafity, a wooden track, wheels and some bikes. The last four years, he updates the pro-Tour outfits for Tacx. These are provided as updates by Tacx.
