Welcome to Rangelandz Arabians! We are a small family run business an hour from Edmonton, Alberta. We raise Straight Egyptian Arabians, occasionally Egyptian related and partbreds. We only produce about 1-4 foals per year. Our goal is to produce quality, affordable Straight Egyptians that excel in halter and performance.
Our program contains the bloodlines of Thee Desperado, The Minstril, Tammen, Morafic*, Shamruck++, Rasmoniet RSI, Shaikh Al Badi, TheEgyptianPrince, and a few more that are also quite well known.

About Straight Egyptian Arabians
Straight Egyptian means that every horse in the pedigree was used in breeding programs by royalty, such as kings. They can trace 100% of their linage back to horses bred by Bedouin tribes of ancient Arabia.There are less than 6,000 Straight Egyptians in the world today, with only 3% of purebred Arabians being Straight Egyptian. The magnificence and rarity of these horses is both unique and desired.
Of course, they also carry the characteritics of the Arabian breed. Such as a love for humans, as for centuries they needed to be feirce and brave in battle yet laid back enough to share a tent with their owners. The Arabian is the oldest purebred horse in the world, they also have one less vertabra than any other breed.

WSA Fistfulla Khasha (Khemos Khanadian X OK Brianna)
2009 bay Arabian filly. "Khasha" is a pretty girl with an "in your pocket" personality and a strong desire to learn. She's very sweet and intelligent, not to mention flashy with lots of chrome.
Khasha is a grand daughter to maximum Sabino stallion, R Khasper. R Khasper is one of the three true maximum Sabino Arabians in the USA, the other two are offspring of R Khasper. She has incredible lines all packed into one pedigree, such as Khemosabi++++//, Muscat, R Classic Touch+++/, Sey Cherie++, Serafix, Aladdinn, Strike, Bint Sahara, LF Atlantas, Tornado, Bask++, Nabor, Skowronek, Raseyn, The Real McCoy++, Witez II, Raffles, and Witraz.
She is a one of a kind filly as her sire Khemos Khanadian (Owned and imported by Whispering Secret Arabians) was gelded after only four foaling seasons, Khasha being the only cross between him and her dam, OK Brianna. Khemos Khanadian has produced a few Sabino foals, and we're hoping that with the right cross, Khasha will be able to produce Sabino foals as well. We plan to breed Khasha to NWA Minstrados Reflection in the future and also school her under saddle.
RA Hailing Gold (NWA Minstrados Reflection X Goldust Madeline)
2009 chestnut Egyptian sired, Quarab filly. "Hailey" is our first foal we ever produced. She's got lots of Arabian features such as tail carriage, a dished head, and fast, flowing movement. Hailey also, like many of our horses, has an "in your pocket" personality. She's super calm and easy to teach, she also LOVES people!
Hailey's dam is unregistered, therefore we are unaware of her Quarter Horse bloodlines. Her known bloodlines are strictly that of her sire's, please visit the Stallion page to view his pedigree information.
We do plan to breed Hailey in the future to an Arabian stallion to produce a 75% Arabian foal. She will also be schooled under saddle and used as a riding horse for us.

"Sarafina" is a gorgeous, flashy filly with a total sweetheart attitude. She adores people! This filly is going to be very tall and athletic like her sire.

RA Reckless Hightide - Grey/bay, Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Arabian colt. Born on April 16th, 2011 at 9:10 AM. By NWA Minstrados Reflection and out of Moniets Silver Lace. "Reckless" is a beautiful, proud boy with an appetite for discovery. He has very tippy ears, a dishy head, and long legs perfect for covering a lot of ground.
2010 bay sabino/rabicano, Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Arabian filly. "Sarafina"” is a gorgeous girl; she has lots of Arabian type including a dishy head, flagpole tail, and tons of flash. She loves people, is very smart and willing, and is very athletic. There is just too much to say about her. Sarafina should mature around the 15h-16h mark. She has a bold blaze and four “stockings. She is a very sweet filly with an "in your pocket" personality. Sarafina's name means 'Seraphim', which is an angel of the highest order. ”

2010 dun, Egyptian sired, Quarab colt. "Thor"” is a beautiful boy with the perfect balance of physical characteristics from his Quarter Horse dam and Arabian sire. He has a slightly dished head with tippy ears and a long neck, followed behind by powerful hindquarters. Thor has unlimited potential for a Western horse. Thor's name means 'thunder' in Scandinavian.

Electra has a combination of Egyptian/Polish/Crabbet blood on her dam’s side. She has a dishy head, a smooth stride, and good tail carriage. Electra is going to mature around the 15h mark. She is a pretty dark bay color with a star and strip, and two white feet.

2011 bay/grey Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa Arabian colt. "Reckless"” is a beautiful boy with Arabian features including a pretty head, tippy ears, and long legs. He's a very social foal with a lovable personality, he LOVES to be scratched! He has unique markings such as a tiny white spot above his muzzle (almost looks like a drop of milk) and a small, nickel sized spot on his stomach. Reckless got his name as he truly was reckless when he was first born, he was fearless and very bold, literally running before he walked! He definately loves to move! That doesn't damper his disposition, which is sweet and kind.
