Bio
At a very young age, Samantha knew that dancing was going to be part of her future. Growing up in New Jersey, she trained at studios in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, musical theatre, and modern to name a few. Samantha was a part of a national dance team that competed all over the United States and has received many top awards with her team and also as a soloist. Samanthas love for dance really shines through every time she takes the stage.
Samantha became very serious about dance when she reached her high school years. While continuing to train at her studio and on her competition team, she was honored to be accepted in her local Performing Arts High School. Here she learned about what happens behind the scenes, on camera, on stage, and back stage, while taking master class in modern, ballet, and jazz. During this time Samantha also started to take classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Here Samantha found amazing opportunities that led her to receive scholarships to many different conventions and work with choreographers such a Mandy Moore and Dan Karaty.
At the young age of 20, Samantha has trained at the prestigious Marymount Manhattan College as a dance major and will continue her education at Rutgers University under scholarship. She has had the opportunity to teach at local studios and also at a drama program for mentally challenged adults. Samantha has also choreographed for the New Jersey Nets Basketball team and for local artists in the tri-state area.
Most recently Samantha had the opportunity to attend the Hollywood Summer Tour in Los Angeles along with dancers from all over the world where she performed at a taping of "So You Think You Can Dance" and was a principal dancer in Jordan Setacci's music video, "New Girl on the Block".
Samantha is a dedicated and hard working individual not only in dance but in life. She is ready to take on new opportunities and challenges including dancing, modeling, and acting. No matter the task before her, Samantha will always give 200%.
