At the 2005 Event 6,800 students, teachers, parents and the public attended in a civic center arena to "Praise, Pray and Proclaim" the Good News of God's love and presence. And this past May, the 2006 event welcomed a gathering of over 8,000 from schools, families and the public. Many of the students, an estimated 1,500 came forward to confess Jesus as their Lord."Just for Jesus:Excite!" is now set to present a crusade event in Beaumont, Texas on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 and the sixth youth event in Lake Charles on Thursday, May 3. Then on October 3rd, Just for Jesus is presenting its first event event for Baton Rouge area schools, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the LSU campus. More news and details about this upcoming event...Additionally, James has ministered on and hosted with TBN's Praise the Lordchannel in Beaumont, Texas. He also has been involved in a variety of television specials and radio broadcasts, plus he now brings forth the Word of God on his weekly radio program, "I Can Believe," heard on KAJN, Sunday mornings at 9:45 and now, weeknights at 8:30pm following Focus on the Family.His History: James was homeless, he wandered the streets of Baton Rouge, he slept on the steps of the Lake Charles civic center and he was completely lost without Christ. Then someone told him about the love and saving grace of Jesus.Once he gave his life to the Lord, he has become a new creation just as the Bible says. Now, James is on a mission. He is dedicated to the call of God on his life to "turn those things that seem to be impossible and make them possible" according to Mark 9:23.
