Just for Jesus provides the platform for students to perform their arts, music, display their talents driven by Christ through a field trip while in school.Just for Jesus field trips have seen thousands of young people make life changing decisions. Since 2002 over 14 events have been held across the nation.Recently, we saw over 200 young people shock an audience of 8,000 people when they admitted publicly they were dealing with suicidal thoughts.

A Just for Jesus youth rally came to Southeast Texas under the leadership of its founder, Rev. James Bertrand. For the last several years they have had successful rallies in Lake Charles, Louisiana and other cities. After talking to the Leadership Team of the Golden Triangle Baptist Association, I as their Executive Director at the time, and the team agreed to encourage the churches of the association to get involved as a possible way to reach more people for Christ. As a result, one of the most successful gatherings of young people, teachers, sponsors and parents I have personally ever seen took place; and a majority of those present were lost and/or un-churched. The day was at no cost to the students including food. The attendance was about 4,000 and many students accepted Christ as their Savior. Many people did not believe that School Boards, School Administrators and principles would permit such a thing to happen. Not only did it happen but many schools provided the bus transportation to the rally. I want to encourage you to get involved with Just for Jesus and see how the Lord will bless. You should understand; there will be well meaning people who will oppose this effort. But I believe it is time to be taking our schools back for the Lord; and I believe the reason our schools are experiencing the problems they have is because we have taken God of our schools. Her ear started to hurt real bad, after the pain left she could hear.
