I just had my baby and most of my husbands relatives are either in the United States of America or in London. Basically, they are too far away to get to personally welcome and know a new person in their life, my baby. My baby is the first grandchild and I am very grateful for their shared excitement when it comes to my baby. I write to them and send them pictures of my baby now and then but sometimes I find it hard to find the time to write a letter or send pictures. Plus, it takes quite some time for the letters and pictures to get sent to them and my baby is growing up so fast.
