Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: What should I expect in the main (beauty) portion of the pageant?A: Contestants will be introduced individually so they can show off their personality and style. The most important thing to remember is to smile and have fun! Dress to impress! This category gives you a chance to wear your favourite dress/sharpest suit. Each contestant will have approximately 1 minute, background music will be provided.Q. What does the photogenic contest involve?A. Send in a photo with your registration by mail or email, prints should be 8x10 (can be a shot from home or a professional photo, head and shoulders shots are best) The winner will have their photo featured on the front of the keepsake program book as well as receive a crown during the crowning ceremonies at the end of the pageant.Q. What should I prepare for my specialty/outfit of choice presentation?A. Each contestant has up to 3 minutes to show off their costume and personality, props are welcome! Bring your own music for your routine or use the fun music provided. If you choose to use your own music it should be on a clearly labelled CD and can be handed in at the beginning of the outfit of choice event . A back up of music is recommended.Q. What can I do for my talent presentation?A. Anything goes! Dance, sing, act, lip sync or do a magic act, entertain us! Each contestant has up to 3 minutes to show off their talent.
