Waipu Church Renovations
The Church building is out of action from November 2 - 11 while it is fully scaffolded inside for a wash down and mould teeatment of the ceilings and walls, plus minor repairs where the angels sit.
Guy Fawkes Bonfire
Friday November 6.
A bonfire in the glebe with bring your own fireworks. From 7.30pm onwards with the fire lighting about 8.15pm. A supervised area for fireworks.
Camellia Ave Church Bazaar
Saturday November 7 from 9-12am.
Combined Parish Service November 8 at Camellia Ave 10am
Mainly Music Hangi
Christmas break-up event on October 31 beginning at 3pm at the Sunday School Hall.
Guy Fawkes Night Bonfire
A bonfire and bring your own fireworks evening on November 6 at the glebe. Suitable all ages with a "safe area" for supervised firework lighting.

Combined Parish Service at Camellia Ave Church, Ruakaka, November 8 at 10am
The Waipu Church is going to be out of action for interior maintenance the week of November 2 - 7.
COMMUNITY CAROL SERVICE
Sunday December 20 at 8pm
This is a huge community event held every year in the Waipu Church. A service of Scripture and Carols it always inspires with emotion and energy. The music, mass choir and soloists are amoung the best Northland can muster.
4th WAIPU VILLAGE PICNIC & MUSICFEST
Sunday March 7 2010
Organised and sponsored by our Church this is a gift to the community. Held at Waihoihoi River Park we invite local, regional and sometimes national stars to entertain for four hours solid with a wide range of musical styles. In 2009 Ben Lummis was our guest. Awesome!
A great time for families with plenty to do for the kids.
Waipu Pagent
There is talk about a repeat of the hugely successful pagent (first held 2003 to celebrate Waipu's 150th) held in the open air on the Church Glebe to celebtrate Waipu's history with a cast of dozens of locals.
