Hello my name is Waiel Safwat, I am Director/AD. I would like to offer my skills and experience to help enhance and develop the programming and services rendered to the viewers and public. My diverse and multicultural exposure has provided me the resources and tools that are continuously being developed to elevate the standards of my delivered service. I have many years of experience in production, and possess excellent multi-tasking skills that could benefit your organization.For nearly nine years, I worked on media productions and administration. I was involved in production of Films, animations, edited news segments, operated camera, and edited music & weddings videos. I also coordinated productions for commercials, and supervised interns from local colleges and high schools. I ran the post production operations for a local channel with responsibilities ranging from taping and editing local coverage of high school football games to providing footage for network news, and in-between, documenting city and county council meetings. I am comfortable working in all media fields. I possess excellent editing skills using Final cut pro 5 FCP-HD, Media 100, Adobe Image Suite, and Adobe Video Collection. Also, I am familiar with Avid Xpress. I am very attentive to details and I am highly organized. Moreover, I have excellent time management and interpersonal skills. But most importantly, I enjoy working with people and contributing as a member of the team.
