VERGE - 2nd ANNUAL TRI-SPORT TOURNAMENT RETURNS!
November 28 Fundraiser Event to Rebuild Kennedy High Schools Amphitheater
Verge of Horizon Events will host their 2nd annual Tri-Sport Turkey Tournament called Verge on Saturday, November 28, 2009. Eight (8) teams of 15-20 person rosters will compete throughout the day in a round robin tournament play in sports of Ultimate Frisbee, Flag Football, and Basketball. It will be a full day event that consists of a silent auction, raffle, musical, vendors, and plate lunch sales. It will take place at John F. Kennedy High School (Fremont), the same venue as last year, and we are expecting 160-200 people to come out to the event.
Verge of Horizon Events (VOH) has partnered with Club 540 of John F. Kennedy High School (JFKHS), in order to turn the event into a fundraiser to rebuild their ancient amphitheater. One thousand dollars ($1,000) of the proceeds made out of the tournament will go back to JFKHS, and the remaining profit will be used to pay off all expenses needed to make this event a HUGE SUCCESS. VOH Events wants their participants, as well as their fans to have a positive, fun, and enjoyable experience.
