It is rare to find such a versatile vocal talent as Victoria Clarke, whose vast repertoire encompasses everything from soul and jazz to sacred arias and opera. Trained by some of the countrys leading vocal coaches, including the former head of AOTOS and UK chairperson of Cirque De Soliel, Dr. Susan Monks, Victoria is equally at home singing Puccini arias, as she is songs by Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone and Mariah Carey and this, of course, is the secret of her success.
Some people say, 'Oh, they can't sing opera, because they're a jazz singer, or they can't sing pop, if they're classically trained', but to Vickie it makes no difference. She says ' A song is a song, and if you *can* sing it, then you *should* sing it. Being flexible is my best asset.' Her live performances feature classical crossover hits such as Caruso, Volare, and Canto Della Terra, sacred songs such as Ave Maria and The Lord is My Shepherd (from the Vicar of Dibley TV show) operatic arias such as Mozart's Voi Che Sapete, Puccini's Nessun Dorma and O Mio Babbino Caro, and Maria Callas signature aria Casta Diva by Bellini.
Vickie lives just outside Chichester in West Sussex, and is available for live appearances across the country, especially in Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey and the London area.
