WHO IS THE DIGITAL QUICK?
My name is Nick Nugent and no, I am not related to Ted. I am 31 and I earned my BFA in Digital Media from
Otis College of Art and Design
and a AA in Graphic Design from
Brooks College of Art
.
I am currently seeking employment in the entertainment industry or something related to my field of digital media/graphic design. I have always wanted to work in movies and am eagerly searching for a position at
Warner Bros, Paramount, Universal
or any other well known movie studio.
My passion has always been movies, whether designing artwork for them, writing creative stories, or being on camera - I live for entertainment!
I am 6'1 with medium length dark brown hair and long, slender, fingers as well as a trim build. I possess a very high metabolism which keeps me nice and thin so please no anorexic jokes!
I tend to be generally shy until I get to know someone and when I have to meet a deadline on time, nothing holds me back until I complete it.
My interests lie mostly in finding reliable information on upcoming movies, story writing, drawing, photoshop coloring/manipulation, prop design, collecting movie props and autographs, Knight Rider, Smallville, Star Wars, poster design, and other avenues in an artist's skillset.
My fellow artists' nicknamed me "The Digital Quick" or TDQ because of my ability to conceptulize and produce eye catching digital art in a swift and efficent manner.
My passion (outside of movies) has always been writing and creating imaginative stories and designing characters, logos, props, and concept work based on them.
I have been attending Knight Rider fan events such as
Knight Rider Festival
,
Knightcon
, and various Comic Cons and signing/fulfilling orders for my book,
The Knight Rider Companion
- a full color 680 page guidebook to Original Knight Rider Mythology.
I am also working on designing art for the upcoming
Knight Rider Festival III
taking place next March in Las Vegas.
Currently I am designing some concepts for Glen A. Larson and writing a series of books called
Aiemara
.
The first book in the planned trilogy will be titled
Aiemara: Bloodlines,
followed by
Aiemara: Vengeance,
and finally
Aiemara: Destiny.
