I Like to Play Poker Tournaments on the Internet

Through the years I have lived in this world, there is this one thing that I love to do the most – play poker. Casino card games are very addicting. I seriously doubt that you did not even like to play a single casino card game. The recent development of the internet allowed me to play poker on line. So I took the chance of playing online. At first, it was a bit hard considering that you don’t see the faces of your opponents. But I got the hang of it. However, when I played a poker tournament in our local area, I learned that it is more fun to play a poker tournament compared to a cash game. In a cash game, it is but degrading to see when your cash diminishes and that is a proven fact.

After that discovery I tried to play poker tournaments online. And I compared it with playing poker at a friend’s house or at a casino. The result was the same; I was and am more comfortable playing poker tournaments online. An advantage of playing online is that you don’t need to dress up or go to the casino and play. You simply need to turn on your computer and log-on to your favorite poker room and play. I play poker tournaments at Titan poker.  It is a very popular site for poker tournaments. This site was given to me by my uncle who also loves to play poker. Aside from that, it also offers a welcome bonus for newly-registered members. Another thing is that, you can be sure that you are safe in this site. It is not a scam or anything that could harm you and your career as a poker player. And on top of that, it is the best site in Europe, well, that’s only my humble opinion.

A little introduction

A family guy of 40 years with 2 kids, one a daughter and the other a son both born a year apart now just stepping into their teens. With a demanding job which sometimes goes into 60 hour weeks I try to spend whatever little that's left with my family. As a family we do almost everything together from our grocery shopping to watching movies. Even our weekend get together's with friends involve the whole family,  with the adults mingling over a drink while all the kids raise a ruckus in their rooms.

So you can see I've left all my personal choices behind and try and do activities which has maximum interest. Of course I do try and teach my children the books we studied and enjoyed as children and encourage them to watch movies like Sound of Music and the likes. In spite of the initial lack of interest  I was amazed just the other day when the kids were humming an old familiar tune from The wizard of Oz.

The one thing we enjoy is the two week vacation we spend together. mostly its driving through neighboring states and sometimes if the budgets allow we even take a flight to some exotic locale and enjoy the local flavor. All of us love the water and swimming and other aquatic sports are always on the cards when on the plains. In case we decide to go to the hills its usually picnic lunches and long hikes through nature trails.

With the inflation rising, and our mortgages at our heels we tend to make more thrifty choices rather than extravagant ones. It is our ambition to put both our kids through college and we all know what the cost of that can be. My wife a homemaker now supports me through her various exhibition sales of applique work and embroidery of which she is an expert.

I love good food and good wine and good music but i guess that's what everyone likes to think. I also love poetry and love the works of Shakespeare, Alexander Pope and John Donne. A favorite quote of mine which i try to imbibe in my kids is
"No man is an island....... therefore never seek to know for whom the bells toll. It tolls for thee!

As for music love the country and folk strain of music. I used to be a TV buff but with two kids entering the teens just try reaching for the remote. So in my spare time I just go the terrace and read a good book over a cup of tea.

I have always been a great fan of cricket right through the decades, and that is the only time my kids know that even looking at the remote is useless. Still a fan of the Test Cricket  i like to think of the shorter versions as fast food when compared to a real meal. I also don't mind watching a good game of football and follow most football world cup quite religiously.
