Kimbombo was founded in 2003 by Rony Iwryn (Uruguay) and Itay Abramovitz (Israel), both are musicians and members of the mythological "Jerusalem Salsa Band".
Kimbombo combines Latin, Afro-Cuban & Caribbean rhythms with Middle-Eastern influences & Israeli Music.
Kimbombo plays a vast variety of Latin music styles such as:
Salsa / Son, Cha-Cha-Cha, Danzon, Bolero, Cumbia, Cuban Rumba, Mambo, Argentinian Folclore (Chacareras, Zambas), Afro Peruvian music (Festejo, Lando), Brazilian Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz & more.
Kimbombo has cooperated with some of the biggest Israeli & international Latin musicians, such as:

"Little" Johnny Rivero - percussion (Puerto Rico)
