The 100-minute film is an intimate portrayal of one pulsating underground scene in Ireland, which faithfully only plays one music style:
Drum 'n Bass
It will follow the lives of 9 individuals who by day work in their day jobs and by night sacrifice everything to keep the scene alive. From the resident Radio na Life DJ who has had a weekly show on fm radio for seven years to the young promoter/Dj from Co. Clare who has started up his own label to promote the music he loves all over the world. This searching piece will allow viewers to see the other side of the DJ box, deep into the scenes, niggling and fighting over audience numbers as well as the tragedy of those who lost their vinyl stores because of demand and economy, while only down the road endless advancements in social networking technology allow young promoters to roll in some of the biggest names from America and the UK to play at Irelands' unique club nights. We will meet people who were on the brink of fame and others who are now renowned DJ's overseas. We will meet the new hopefuls and the ones who say the scene stole their lives. This is 'How to keep an underground scene alive'.....
