ARCA Sim Racing at its Best
About Me
Welcome to my world of online sim racing. I participate weekly in organized league racing using the "The Sim Factory" Arca 08 software. My online racing career first started back in 1998 with the NASCAR 4 software. Since then I have raced with several leagues such as WORL, FBRL, CRL & ASRC. I am currently racing at GTRL (Good Times Racing League) twice a week. I am also race administrator for the Saturday night “Hot Wheels” series at GTRL. We have the best group of online racers you will find anywhere on the net. In addition to the good, clean & respectful racing, the friendships are second to none. Good friends getting together to have fun is what it’s all about for us. If you feel a need for speed and want to get setup to race online, contact me and I will be more than happy to send you the info about what all you need to participate in this fast growing hobby. Please visit my “links" page to see a little more about my teammates and their websites. Also, checkout GTRL where there is a great deal of info about online sim racing. There you will also find plenty of great guys than will answer any questions you may have about online sim racing.

"Cats know, comin' out of four, they better be standin' on it, else they'll be standin' in it"............................Richard Petty
I am sure by now you have figured out that i am Richard Petty's biggest fan. Yes, Richard Petty is NASCAR past present and future. The name of Richard Petty will always be a part of NASCAR in some capacity. Aside from him being a champion, he is a true American gentleman. You will not find a nicer person anywhere in NASCAR. In all my many years of following Richard , i never once heard him say anything unkind or saw him turn down a fan for an autograph. I realize there have been many other above average drivers but, "King" Richard is at the top and always will be in my book. There has never been another driver who has a smile like Richard. Good or bad, Richard always had a wave of his hand and a smile for the crowd. That is something that only a select have the ability to do. I remember back when he turned his final lap in 1992 _ Atlanta, it was hard to say goodbye in a sense. In recent years I have appreciated all of Petty Enterprises contributions to NASCAR but unless the Richard is behind the wheel, it just isn't the same ol #43. I do wish the Petty's the best of luck in all their NASCAR endeavors and you can bet come Sunday, I will be pulling for that #43 car to win.
200 career wins
126 poles
712 top ten's
1,185 starts
7 wins _ Daytona
5/28/10, I finally got the STP 43 in victory lane. GTRL was at Talladega Alabama for 80 laps of the
best racing anywhere. I started 6th on the grid. The entire race went green with no cautions. I settled
in with my good friends JD Webb and "Ironhead" for the majority of the race. With some good
pitstops and a lot of luck i found myself in 1st place with 10 to go. I was able to hang on with the help of
"Ironhead" for the win. It was pretty much an uneventful race but i sure had a blast. The real highlight of winning
for me is seeing the 'ol #43 take the win. No matter if it is sim racing or real racing i love to see that #43 in the
victory lane
My victory burnout, felt real good to finally win one
My friends and I coming to the green flag
In addition to racing with my my fellow teamates, Lucky Dog Racing also sponsors the #48 of Travis Monett and the #74 of David Bass who both participate weekly in the ASRC (arca sim racing league) "Pro Series". This is a series comprised of sponsored drivers. Just as in real life, real money is paid to have your car or your team cars racing in this series. This particular series is where the best drivers gather to share in some green flag runs and some fierce competition. Each of these races are broadcasted live on ETV (www.elitesimracingtv.com) every Wednesday night starting at 9:00pm est. Hope to see you there!
5/26/10, I would like to congratulate JJ Schafler for his win in the #74 Lucky Dog Racing sponsored ride. JJ filled the seat for our normal driver David Bass. JJ stepped in and did an outstanding job putting that LDR Camry in the winners circle. This was the first win for LDR and we hope it is just a sign of more good things to come.
