Title: Diamonds & Gold 280 cm x 280 cm oil on linen 2010Artists: Mike ALbrow & Michelle BIrdOn exhibition in the foyer at AXA Winterthur, Paulstrasse, Winterthur, Switzerland Diamonds & Gold is the result of ten collaborative working sessions. Portrayed are young adults who form and shape our world. They are on the brink of adulthood and will soon have to carry the responsibilities required of life. This is a social commentary on suburban existentialism. The passport could be from any country and the young adults could have similar experiences. Depending on your ideals the activities may be considered provocative or commonplace. However the nuances of the diamond ring and gold leaf beer cans suggest a better life.
