About Unathi is a non profit organisation established in December 2008 by a group of friends, from SOWETO, driven by the edge to stand up and do something to uplift their community. Their vision is based on the following facts:• There are so many orphans, mostly as a result of AIDS related deaths• There is an alarming rate of unemployment (main contributor to the so ever increasing crime rate)• There is a surge in a number of rape victims from all ages, especially young children

* To offer assistance interms of providing sustainable and necessary aid such as food, clothes and on occasion assist in the running of orphanages thus providing relief to the care givers. Main beneficiaries being: * struggling orphanages and * struggling families
