About Us
Reaching out, Building up, Giving hope... that is the mission of Hands to Help. We are reaching out to individuals and families in need throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area. We believe that building up a strong, healthy community is best accomplished by people helping one another. Giving hope by using our time and abilities to lift up and encourage one another.
We all know somebody who needs a little help, a friend, a relative, a neighbor or co-worker. For the elderly, widowed and disabled, simple everyday tasks such as lawn care or moving furniture can be difficult and burdensome. A single parent who struggles to make ends meet doesn't have the ability or the money for basic home repairs such as a broken light switch or a front door that doesn't lock properly. People all around us are experiencing financial hardships, and a broken radiator hose or a leaky faucet can cause added stress to a family.
Please partner with us in reaching out, building up, and giving hope to those in need within our community.

Request Help
We all know individuals and/or families that need a little help. The elderly, widowed, disabled, single parent, or someone experiencing a financial hardship. If you know someone in need and would like to request help for them please click the Request Help button to fill out a simple form. Here are just a few examples of how we help:
- Interior/Exterior home repairs & maintenance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, changing bulbs, filters, etc.
- Basic automotive repairs & maintenance, tune-ups, brakes pads, hoses, etc.
- Appliance repairs, landscaping, house cleaning, cooking meals
Volunteer
We have an ever-growing database of knowledgeable volunteers, each possessing a variety of skills and talents which they enjoy using to help others. Lending a hand to help meet everyday needs is what we are passionate about.
