OUR MISSION: To create a value for our customers and clients by providing marketing and merchandising support as well as sales execution.
We are a diversified sales and merchandising company working with manufacturers on project based assignments to secure distribution at the wholesale and retail level. The levels of tasks we perform range from hourly based projects for a specific manufacturer to companies that we represent on a commission basis. We work in numerous classes of trade including Grocery and Mass Merchandisers completing resets, securing distributions and selling seasonal / promotional items.
It is our belief that execution at retail is where the rubber meets the road; RSI's reputation is undisputed in the industry. We work with our vendors, retailers and their management to provide customized solutions, complete projects in a timely and professional manner with first class execution at retail.
Speed to Shelf
In 1996, our vision was to provide services to retailers that were not being met at that time. Currently in over one hundred supermarkets, RSI maintains new item placement, identifying discontinued product, correcting pack changes and category shelf management.
Sales
In 2001, RSI established our Sales Division which offers monthly Headquarter calls, Sub-Group Headquarter calls and Retail Coverage. Sales are a project oriented division for consumer products companies to have retail representation for acquiring and maintaining distribution. RSI currently covers retail and sub-group headquarters in 20 states.
Surge
In 1999 our Surge Division was established to provide services to both Non-Food and Grocery Manufacturers. We work with manufacturers and Retailer seeking representation at the store level to achieve product placement and maintenance on their behalf.
Specialty Foods
Specialty Food began in 2004. RSI currently represents over 100 Specialty Food manufacturers and provides plan-o-gram support and implementation, retail coverage in regard to new introduction and placement and sales coverage for promotions at the headquarter and retail level. RSI currently covers retail and sub-group headquarters in 20 states.
RSI's management team averages over 25 years experience in the food and mass classes of trade. Our experience runs from distributor and wholesale knowledge, key account headquarter calls, and an extensive understanding of in-store execution at retail.
