How many plants there are growing in towns/cities on Earth?
You can imagine how much more pleasant life would be if free, clean, organic food were freely growing within easy reach of everyone.

THE IDEA
Food is not meant to be locked up behind counters and cupboards, it is meant for nourishment and enjoyment. The way humanity has claimed that basics such as food need to 'earned' has led to so much sickness, death and imbalance that many do not allow themselves to imagine an alternative.
How about we change now? How about we make the return to natural abundance for all a priority in our lives?
Let's look at the obvious benefits of growing high quality organic food in public spaces in comparison to the current choice of making/buying packaged/processed/imported food:
1. Less theft through lack or shortage of food.
2. Improved nutrition bringing increased ability to live, love and evolve.
3. Less nutrition related sickness.
4. Improved mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
5. Less pharmaceutical waste being pumped into our ecosystem since improved health can allow a return to natural health and a natural state of being which does not use or need pills.
6. Less financial stress/burden, thus a friendlier planet.
7. An end to starvation and hunger.
8. Less packaging waste produced & less transportation needed; thus less oil used as a result.
9. Less garbage produced, less garbage/recycling to be done.
10. An increased awareness of and connection to the living Earth and life in general.
There are points of view which say "People would hoard the food and so there could be fighting", however, if enough food is grown then there would be no shortage and no purpose in hoarding. People who are going to fight over apples would quite likely be fighting over something else anyway if the apples were not there; the apples are not causal!
WHAT'S NEEDED
The addition of natural, organic growing of free fruit and vegetables into local community services; together with a willingness to be involved, to evolve our way of life for the better and to do so in a way that is inclusive of everyone.
The ending of habitual thinking that says 'better is impossible or too costly'.
Seeds, water, sunlight, air, space and love!
