ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Kevin Cross, CPA, thought he was the boy wonder. He graduated from college at age 17, enrolled in a prestigious law school and went to work as an accountant for the country's most famous sheriff, Nick Navarro. His future was so bright, he had to wear shades. His ingenuity and hubris knew no bounds. To support his increasingly extravagant lifestyle, he began stealing from the Sheriff through a scheme called Salami Slicing. As his pockets grew, so did his arrogance. First the mafia caught wind of his con and went to all lengths to be cut in. Then one February morning, the FBI knocked on his door and changed his trajectory forever. Freshly out of jail, $300,000 in debt, jobless, and living in his car, Kevin found God and used His method of handling money to pay back his debt and eventually found and run South Florida's largest Christian tax practice, which he headed for 17 years. Kevin is now the Stewardship Director at Fellowship Bible Church in Atlanta, GA. He lives there with his wife and two children. Kevin's entire is detailed in his autobiography, "Embezzlement".
