BUSINESS PORTRAITYour name has a face.Our studio is close to your office (down town), this is more economic and efficient. Unless its usually better to do the shooting in your offices. This saves your time, allows you to be shot in an environment in which you feel more comfortable, and allows us to take environmental portraits as well as formal, posed business portraits.A business portrait is usually a head and shoulders portrait, done in the studio against a solid or lightly-textured neutral background. We use professional lighting designed to flatter your face and create an image that will reproduce well in print or on the web. A broad package of usage rights is included in every business portrait package.A session will be scheduled for 30 minutes. We strive to provide your private web previews within a day after your sitting. Well notify you by e-mail with a link when your previews are on-line. Allow another day after you select your favorite pose for us to prepare your digital files or prints. You can pick up your finished portrait package at our office or we can mail it to you.Choose one pose from your portrait session. Well do our basic retouching and then prepare your reproduction-ready digital files. You get your portrait in both color and black & white in size of 20-30 cm, at 300 DPI (dots per inch) in TIFF and JPEG formats. The package also includes a web-sized JPEG to post on your website, on LinkedIn, or Facebook.
PORTRAITRelax, take your time.Shooting out peoples' faces is a source of pure joy for us. Our p-shoots are more open ended and directive. These works are simultaneously documentary and theatrical, dignifying people that are seldom seen against a naive background. Photographs represent our experience and interpretation of a particular person and moment in time.
FASHION PORTRAITThis is a team work.Fashion photography should convey an essence of authority, so our direction of the model(s) needs to be confident and self-assured. Showing signs of anxiety, stress or lack of direction will invariably be reflected in the performance of your model so we make the subject feel comfortable and involved. We organise a shot list before the shoot and rehearse technique and composition for each shot in our mind. When we are commissioned to do a fashion photography portrait, the idea or theme would normally be given by the editor of the magazine or the fashion designer for a particular issue. The brief may simply be one word or a whole concept. We discuss the brief with the art director or editor as to how it should be interpreted. At this stage, we determine the feel they want the photographs to have, such as, do we want the viewer to be excited, or calm, to feel sad or happy, or should the photographs have a great deal of colours or should they be muted. We decide what the brief means to us and how it would best describe our meaning within a fashion portrait. All the possibilities of the outcomes depend on the available budget.
BOOK - PORTFOLIOSJust you.An actor's or model's book serves as an introduction to agents and casting directors. You have very little time to capture attention, but glitzy or gimmicky portfolios generally end up in the trash. Instead, create a well-structured, professional portfolio that contains only the critical information. Your portfolio contents may vary slightly depending on your previous experience.Have professional head shots taken. Modeling shots, prom pictures, snapshots and vacation photos will tag you as an amateur and may result in your portfolio being thrown away. Proper head shots are of your face and neck only. Your expression should be friendly but neutral. Avoid big grins. Professional head shots are black and white, not color.Eyefix studio headshot photographers approach to actor's and model's headshot is a little different from most, as they prefers to work in comfortable surroundings that allow the actor to relax and be able to project that inner something that sets them apart. In the end, what makes a great actor's headshot is the chemistry that exists between the photographer and the actor. Eyefix photographers takes the time to get to know their actors, actresses and models and they brings out their best in their headshots.
