Not only does a pair of boots protect your ankles and shins from all the bumps and bruises that go along with doing circus acts, but they also are very aesthetically appealing, and really help complete a costume. Because they are custom-made, they can be made to coordinate with virtually any costume!
Wearing a pair of boots really reduces the amount of pain that certain tricks can cause - ankle and toe hangs on trapeze, almost any trick on lyra/hoops, wraps on corde lisse and cloud swing. Not only do they make these tricks easier, but they reduce (and in some cases eliminate) the number and intensity of unsightly bruises and burns.
This can be especially invaluable if you are either doing intensive training, or a long run of performances - both situations where you will be required to complete the same moves over and over. The leather of the boots reduces the wear that repetition can cause.
Leather
The first step in the design process is to select which color leather you'd like. For larger, more detailed pictures of leather swatches, please email me.
Next decide if you want any appliques or patterns added to your boot (an additional cost to be assesed on an individual basis).
Choose between black or white for the color of the grommets and elastic.
Finally, pick a color of laces to go with your boots. Black or white are complimentary, other colors (or multiple pairs of laces, regardless of color) are $3 each.

Each pair of boots is custom-made in order to guarantee a perfect fit. In order to create the pattern for your boots, a series of measurements is required. To recieve the measurement sheet and order form, please email me at:

- turn-around time is - on average - 2 weeks. This is a general rule to which there are exceptions. If you need your boots in time for a specific date, please contact me to let me know. Rush orders (less than 2 weeks turn-around) are possible, at an additional cost.
- A standard, single color pair of boots costs $185 USD, plus S&H costs - generally betwen $5 and $15 to most parts of North America. I do ship all over the world, usually for less than $20 S&H
- I bill via PayPal, as it is the best way I have found to deal with multiple currencies, and I don't start on the boots until I receive payment.
