Children, family and photography are my strongest passions in life. Hatchling's Portraits was born of love, creativity and a yearning to fill my time with the biggest joys in my life. I hope to be able to share my vision and creativity with you and to capture those special fleeting moments that pass all too soon so they can be cherished for years to come!
We are a mobile photography company, so there is no studio to drive to... we will come to the place of your choosing, offering the opportunity to photograph your little one in the comfort of your own home!
We specialize in natural light photography, although studio lighting is available at an additional charge.
While our goal is to capture your child in their natural "habitat" so that memories can be created and captured portraying their personalities, posed images can be created too; what you want and expect of us will be determined in a consultation prior to the photo shoot so that we can best capture what it is you are looking for.
Sessions & Pricing
Sessions start at $250 for up to two children on location in natural light (indoors or outdoors). The photo shoot typically lasts up to 2 hours although editing, post-processing and retouch efforts tend to take another 6-8 hours to complete. After your session, you will receive a linen cover 4"x4" album with at least 30 of your favorite images from the shoot. You will also receive a free online (password-protected) photo album and slideshow to share with friends and family where additional prints and items can be purchased "a la carte."
We also offer a "First Year" package for $950 which includes four photo sessions in natural light to record the growth of your little one through their tender first year of life. In addition to the four photo albums you'll receive as part of the package, you'll also receive a free 16x20 gallery wrap (image on canvas) of your favorite image from the sessions to display in your home and a composite print!
All sessions must be paid for in full on or by the day and time of the shoot. A deposit equal to half of the session fee is due at the time of our first meeting (where your wants and needs will be discussed), and the other half will be due on the day of the shoot (First Year session payment plans are available). If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so at least 48 hours prior to our appointment time.
