The World Around Us
The beauty of the world around us is something that never ceases to amaze me. At every turn there is something amazing to behold. The spring sunrise on the Hindu Kush Mountains, the rolling fog over the San Francisco Bay in the morning from above, the vast expanse of the Black Rock Desert. Beauty is everywhere, you just have to know how to look for it.
I don't view life as a race to a final destination, but as an adventure. Each decision is an opportunity for a new adventure. It's adventure that I have been fortunate to take and of which I continue to be a part. It's had its ups and downs. I think I have hit some of the highest of the highs and, unfortunately, also some of the lowest of the lows.
