Hey, thanks for stopping by the Official TonyGroshongMusic Site! I’m so glad you had the time to swing by! Let me tell you a little about myself. I started playing music at a very young age. Music was in my blood and I constantly had rhythm in my step! My musical passion started out at about the age of four years old, literally singing myself to sleep almost every night, and using my fingers as drum sticks on the back of the chairs at church lol. I was singing most everyday and it was no surprise because my Mom would be at the piano playing and singing quite a bit throughout the day. I started Music class in second grade, doing mostly choir and a little percussion. But after we moved to Kalispell, MT at 11 years old, I quickly picked up the trumpet for band and also started learning the guitar and drums. This created for A LOT of musical exposure! I was recognized as “Best Brass Musician” for most of my musical career in Elementary, Junior High and High School. I scored high marks in District Music Festivals, and all the while learning VERY valuable lessons in Music Composition and Music Theory. I played drums in the bands, “Uprising” and “The Broken” for about eight years and writing songs on guitar at the same time. After moving to Spokane, WA at the age of 24, I decided to start my own musical career as a singer/songwriter. With the amazing help of Rob Dewbre (Producer of “Awaken Me”) and some very talented musicians, this dream and passion of writing and performing music for everyone to enjoy has finally begun! I’m so very excited to share this with you, and hope that within even just a note or phrase of one of my songs, you too could be inspired.
"Awaken Me" (Released in Sept 2010), is an album that's about a year in the making. I absolutely LOVED working on this project and with the help of my Producer Rob Dewbre, it came to be an AMAZING finished product! I was also able to collab with a lot of GREAT musicians on this Album. A BIG 'Thank You' to all of you. You were able to bring some Very Quality sounds and feelings to these songs! Within the songs in this CD you will experience anything from Soft Orchestral Ballads, Alternative/Pop Rock Riff's and Layed-Back Acoustic Rhythm's.
