2012 has already brought much excitement to piano pop-rock artist Jayme Dawicki and her new album “Love Love”! She is up for five Radio Milwaukee Awards (Best solo artist, album, song/catchiest song for “72 ½ Toyota Truck”, and album artwork) plus will be performing at the awards ceremony at the historic Turner Hall Ballroom. In addition, her song “Joe Barry” took the Runner-Up prize in the AAA/Alternative category for the 8th IAMA Competition (International Acoustic Music Awards which is a division of the USA Songwriting Competition) along with her song “Save Me” making it to the top 10 for the Best Female Singer category. Finally her song “Take My Heart” was just heard on MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” and had previously aired on

MTV’s “Sixteen and Pregnant”. Jayme’s album “Shatter Queen” has also seen much success with her songs being featured on MTV’s “The Real World Hollywood and Brooklyn” plus “I Used To Be Fat”, along with NBC's "Last Comic Standing", The CW’s “America’s Next Top Model”, the Lifetime Network, Kohl's Department in-store radio station, and Pandora.com.

Milwaukee native Jayme has toured across the country from coast to coast and down South including New York's The Bitter End, Denver's The Walnut Room, Hollywood's Room 5 Lounge, and Milwaukee’s Summerfest. She will be performing at SXSW 2012 for the Texas Rockfest Showcase and the Invasion

of the GoGirls showcase. Jayme also performed at the 2011 Dewey Beach Music Conference and the 2011 We R Indie International Music Conference.

Her music can be heard in regular rotation on Radio Milwaukee 88.9 FM, WUWM 89.7 FM “At Nite”, and WMSE 91.7 FM. In the past Jayme has opened for major label acts The Fray, Sophie B. Hawkins, and Ferras. She is an 8 time WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) nominee, including nominee for

2011 Female Vocalist and Pop Artist of the year (Jayme was the winner for the 2006 WAMI Female Vocalist of the Year award). An interesting final fact: Jayme was Miss Wisconsin 2002 and spent her year promoting the importance of the fine arts in schools.

“Love Love” and "Shatter Queen" were produced and engineered by Daniel Mendez (Dashboard Confessionals, Lit, Duran Duran, Heart, Noah Gundersen, Meg and Dia).
