About Us...
The Tinkham Veale Building, located in historical downtown Topeka (909 1/2 Kansas Avenue), is home to the Friends of Tinkham Veale.
The TV Up Down Gallery hosts artists every month for the citywide First Fridays Art Walk event. The beautiful building provides a unique atmosphere for artists to share their works and for visitors to come and enjoy. March of 2006 marked the first display of works upstairs.
In addition, The Break Room, located on the ground level of the building, is home to TV On Stage, which brings the talents of local performers to the stage for music, theatre, and more.
The list of participants, as well as the number of visitors, is growing exponentially each month, and we have a lot of ideas for the months to come. If you want to be involved or have ideas or suggestions, please contact us!.

Mission
The mission of Friends of Tinkham Veale is to foster an interest in the arts, culture, and history in Downtown Topeka by showcasing the works of local artists of all ages and by providing opportunities for education and sharing.
